CUTE STORIES

For exhibition, I would like to introduce my playful works.my jewellery aims to explore autobiographical aspects of my Chinese identity including cute imagery, domestic environments, Chinese poetry and my own experience of homesickness. I use cute imagery, bright colours, contrasting materials, such as enamel and plastic to achieve cuteness, nostalgia, poetry, innocence and naivety. I want to make works that encourage people to feel joy.
