Stephanie’s multidisciplinary practice spans silversmithing, collage, sound, animation, and installation while maintaining a crude aesthetic derived from the accessibility of DIY culture, cult cinema, and technological panic. 'A Fertile Void' is an exploration into the abject horror, anxiety and terrible power of female-hood, its corporeality constantly struggling within controlled
environments through imminently defunct technologies. In lieu of 'horror vacui', the repetitious, excessively frenetic nature of the compositions border into sculptural temperaments and extend into a spatial realm. The immediacy and urgency of low-tech processes portray an absurd theatricality between the organic and mechanically unformed.
