NEW TERRAIN

This series of paintings draws from the landscapes around the Lachlan River during an Artist in Residence at the Corridor Project in Central West NSW. Through these landscapes, no matter how serene the surroundings, I’m looking for pieces of interference from mankind. They present themselves through awkward power poles, remnants of fences, cleared land and introduced colonial trees.
