This process-based project aims to explore how the relationship people have with their domestic spaces can change over time. Using dry point printmaking techniques and a DIY approach, I use my old family cutting boards to reflect on how I see my family home and how it has changed.
Using prints pulled from the cutting boards, I reflect on my own experience with moving back home after a period away. The process of making in these works dictates the outcome, with the newspaper used in the printing process altering the white ink, I explore how subtle materials, experiences or attitudes can alter a space.
