To meddle with something is to mess with it, to mix it up.  From the same root, a medley is a collection performed as a continuous piece.

Drawing on found images, screenshots and self-produced photos, these paintings of heads are not portraits, but distortions of people that may be known to me, may be famous or may not exist.  Each work connects to the next through colour, tone, gesture or mark.  Taken as a whole, the collection forms a loop in constant motion, a ronde.  Moving from work to work, as the degree of separation increases, the smaller the differences become.  Returning to the start, the view is the same, but you are not.
