Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote “the earth smiles in flowers”.
The earth speaks in blossoms, seasons, storms, rain, diversity and verdant growth.

Then, why is it groaning with human induced climate change and pollution causing coral bleaching, drought, flood, cyclonic wind, scorched earth, extinction of plants and animals, oceans swilling with plastic and the ice caps melting?

The earth speaks to us in a myriad of ways. It’s time to listen and act… or face our own extinction.

Kate explores images of environmental destruction using watercolour on rice paper. She supports Greenpeace, The Wilderness Society and many ways to help bring hope for the future health of our world.
