SEAMLESS

The materials involved in the works of Seamless behave as a skin containing the contents of and defining a boundary. The techniques of netting and circular knitting provide an opportunity to make a continuous tubular form. Seamless aims to express ideas of connection, in the same way each loop or knot relies on the existence of its previous.
The resulting knot work configurations explore an intertwining with no beginning or end. Extending the inter-connected metaphor to the wallpaper lining the walls of the cupboard space, to create a continuous textile design the aim is to connect the elements so as not to distract the eye with any seams or joins.
