Forced exposure is an installation explores human perception through the property and contingency of light through self- reflexive viewing mechanism where the viewer, the space and the installation are constantly referencing each other. The project aims to capture the ephemerality of natural phenomena through technological apparatus which incorporates light as an essential element of its mechanism.
The intangible entity transitions from one form to another through the process of emitting and receiving light as it transforms from a natural phenomenon to mechanical reproduction. This process is inherently self-referential, revealing the blurring lines between subject and object as well as the mechanism of seeing and its reproduction.
