My work is diaristic and a personal record of my life, it is a form of my own personal art therapy. I hope to evoke feelings of fragility, voyeurism, and of preciousness. I work as a counsellor and art therapist and use experiences from my profession to inform my own art practice.
Each artwork is done in one sitting as an act of meditation; the process of painting, drawing and writing poetry allows me to centre and focus, to metaphorically reveal stories which are too difficult to tell. Each drawing is an act of inner conversation I have with myself, it is a diary of my days.
