INFINITE REFLECTIONS

CURATED BY

JESSIE TURNER

EXHIBITION DATES:

27th OCT - 18 NOV 2023

OPENING NIGHT

FRIDAY 27th OCT 6-8PM

Infinite Reflections investigates the place of reflections in society, from scrying (seeing the future in reflective surfaces and objects) to oil spills.

Positioning reflection as a sentient materiality that flits and dances across the surface of the mind and the world around us, this exhibition aims to underline the connection between the history of mirrors and how reflection influences our understanding of reality, psychology, and the structures of the natural world.

A speculative exhibition where every artist brings their own interpretation of the reflective surface. Much like the reflective surface itself, it is wavering, sparkling and transcendent. Open to interpretation and multiple meanings.
