Axosynaptic exists in between.
Created entirely during lockdowns, in a makeshift home studio, Axosynaptic explores the spaces between the binaries of ease and unease; chaos and order; isolation and integration. The work intends to provide the viewer with endless details to explore up close whilst the small space highlights the tension between the delicate forms and the forced closeness of its audience. Through the use of the 3D paper forms the room encloses the viewer and the patterns become denser and more visually arresting. So, please, take time to rest within the space between, where vitality and contradiction flow freely. It’s where the magic is.
